- The University of Michigan revised its policies to “add additional safeguards for free speech” Monday, the same day that the Department of Justice endorsed a First Amendment lawsuit against the school.
- UM had repeatedly insisted that both the original lawsuit and the DOJ’s assessment of the case misinterpreted its policies, but now claims that it had begun reviewing its speech codes before the lawsuit was even filed. CONTINUE READING HERE
