“Harvard Business School,” Rabkin continues, “has stopped teaching statistics; instead, it requires its students to take an online statistics course from Brigham Young University, a course HBS believes is better than any HBS was offering.”
Rabkin adds that when his students at the University of Michigan meet in class, after having gathered information from free MOOCs, “the quality of the average essay in those courses has increased markedly.” Further, “TheAmerican Council on Education is starting to give credit for successful completion of individual MOOCs.”
