Michigan Voters Made the Right Decision

When they approved an amendment to the state constitution in 2006 forbidding racial preferences in state college admissions, Michigan voters made the right decision. There are many rational grounds for government to choose one citizen over another, but a person’s ancestry isn’t among them.
